After the NIVA use cases leader meeting in Prague all innovation possibilities were discussed during NPA round table meeting. Currently only 2 main things are requested from the farmer during the declaration: parcel boundary and parcel crop type. For the first can be developed the algorithm with the automatic boundary detection from satellite images and for the second can be reused the Sen4CAP project open algorithms (already published). It was decided that pre-filled application use case focus should be on 2 technical outputs: algorithm or methodology for automatic parcel boundary detection and EO data-based crop classification to check if any results could be available for the declaration period, at what concrete time and of how much quantity (parcels/area/farmers). Also, robotic data harvesting will be researched to check how it could contribute to implementation of maximum possible pre-filled application.
