From Monday the 11th until the Wednesday the 13th of July 2022 the CAPIGI conference will be held in Leidschendam (The Hague area), the Netherlands. The NIVA project will also be represented at this conference and will showcase how the NIVA innovations can support the challenge how the power of data can improve farm performance. Besides NIVA the program of the CAPIGI conference contains a lot of presentations that are of great interest for those who are interested in the work of NIVA and its stakeholders. As CAPIGI puts it:
Our agriculture today has become a digital business where satellites, drones, IoT, robotics, GNSS and sensors deliver geo-spatial data that has become a core asset to farmers, advisors, suppliers, governments, and others in the agrifood domain. Data offers opportunities to monitor and benchmark farm performance on productivity, resource use efficiency, environmental and climate performance and other themes. The aim is to collect data once, and use it for many purposes, but is that as easy as it may seem?
