The NIVA Hackathon will take place on the 16th and 17th of June 2022 in Leidschendam (near The Hague) in the Netherlands. The Hackathon will be held together with the international Capigi conference that takes place from the 15th until the 17th of June.
In the last three years the partners within the H2020 project NIVA have been working on the next generation of integrated monitoring. This hackathon will build on top of this result in order to simplify payments to farmers and better assess the environmental performance of agriculture. The key challenge is how we ensure that farmers have better access to environmental data so that they can make more informed decisions.
We are looking for participants for this great event. We will mobilize interdisciplinary teams of farmers, domain experts, coders, developers, data crunchers and other creatives to develop and test prototypes.
