Welcome to NIVA

Project

Project

„New IACS Vision in Action” (NIVA). NIVA delivers a suite of digital solutions, e-tools and good practices for e-governance and initiates an innovation ecosystem to support further development of IACS that will facilitate data and information flows.
NIVA aims to modernise IACS by making efficient use of digital solutions and e-tools, by creating reliable methodologies and harmonised data sets for monitoring agricultural performance while reducing administrative burden for farmers, paying agencies and other stakeholders

Partners

Partners

Members of the NIVA Consortium are The Paying Agencies and/or coordinating bodies of nine EU Member States.

The Consortium includes farmers organisations that represent their farmers and play an active role in the innovation in the sector.

The consortium has been complemented with cutting-edge industrial innovation enterprises.

Other non-partner NGOs and organisations of a broader societal interest will be involved in the stakeholder platform and through the use cases.

Use Cases

Use Cases

The scope of this project is to perform a large-scale pilot of digital innovations. To approach this, the project will make use of user expressed needs in demand driven Use Cases. A Use Case identifies common needs for improvements or innovations: Unaffordable local digital challenges, when developed as cross-border solutions will be affordable. An analysis of the “As is” situation maturity of digital readiness to integrate with the many NIVA innovations is crucial for the success in the final stage of up-scaling pilots.

Deliverables

  • Project Handbook
  • Risk Management Plan
  • Data Management Plan

Downloads

Downloads

Various IT products will be created and uploaded for broader & deeper collaboration of actors in IACS and CAP in an innovation system.

Calls

Calls

Public calls will set-up and manage an engagement mechanism for third parties that are not part of the current NIVA consortium. To support a new vision for IACS, specific or upcoming innovations cannot be solely developed within the NIVA consortium but need to involve wider expertise outside NIVA helping to realise the vision.
